Mercury's Light - LOTD

Okay, so I guess there's not a whole lot of light coming off Mercury since it's a dead planet, but it sounded cool. My skin has been doing a little better lately so I've been doing more looks. I'd like to re-do this one sometime and make it a lot more dramatic and cateye-ish.

Face:
-Maybelline Matte Mousse concealer (Fair)
-Covergirl Aqua Smooth foundation (Classic Ivory - finally a a fair foundation that isn't pink as hell!)
-Clinique blush in "Smoldering Plum"
-e.l.f. Complexion Perfection

Eyes:
-TFSI
-Fyrinnae "New Moon's Light" crease, outer lower lashline
-Persephone Minerals "Mercury Crystal Power" all over main lid and blended above NML
-Sugarpill "Tako" as a brow highlight
-NYX Milk on inner corners and waterline
-Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in "Trooper" (black)
-Covergirl lash blast black mascara

Lips:
-Avon lipstick in "Crystal Coral." This is my go-to natural lipstick and I'm almost out, which almost never happens. Too bad I don't sell Avon anymore, I guess now I need to find my own rep.

I'd been picturing this look for a while so I had to do it. I like how it turned out, New Moon's Light is a really impressive color, and like I've said before, Mercury Crystal Power is one of my favorites ever. Again, I think this would look good if it were more dramatic.

By the way, there's my hair. The highlights used to be purple but they have faded to a pink. The Jerome Russel Punky color dye didn't do a thing for me(stained everything BUT my hair), so I had to get some Special Effects. I used Pimpin' Purple. SFX is just the best brand for me, I think. It always lasts a really long time and has the best variety of colors. I wish I had the guts to dye my whole head that color!

Have a lovely day! :)

Sparkly Purple LOTD + Mermaid Nails

I felt like I had been neglecting Fyrinnae lately, so I figured it was time to do a look using some. I know I do purple looks a lot, but I can't help it, it's my favorite color :) I wore this to go see the movie "Limitless" at the cheap-o theater. I don't recommend it, I felt like the moral of the story was "Do drugs, and you'll turn out great!" Plus, way too much Bradley Cooper. Anyway....

Face:
-Cover Girl Aqua Smooth foundation in "Classic Ivory"
-e.l.f. Complexion Perfection
-Clinique blush in "Smoldering Plum"

Eyes:
-TFSI
-Aromaleigh "Frutti di Bosco" on the outer V
-Sugarpill "Bulletproof" to darken the crease
-Fyrinnae "Sequined Master" over Pixie Epoxy on main lid
-Fyrinnae "Sakura" inner corners
-Glamour Doll Eyes "Phyrra" on lower lashline
-MAC "Feline" on waterline
-Kat Von D tattoo liner in "Trooper" along upper lashline
-Covergirl Lash Blast black mascara (the one in the purple tube, I forget the exact name)

Lips:
-Lime Crime "Airborne Unicorn"

I kind of wish I had used some green to bring out the green sparkles in "Sequined Master." That color is ridiculously sparkly and beautiful.

I think I've posted this nail color before, but it's definitely worth posting twice! Zoya "Charla"I love this color, but I'm definitely not looking forward to removing it... :D

Have a lovely Saturday!

Kat Von D Painted Love Lip Gloss in "Hellbent"

So, I was in Sephora the other day (doesn't happen very often) and I found a really good deal (almost never happens). On the Sephora website it says the Kat Von D Painted Love lipglosses are $18, but they were only $9 in the store. I'm not sure if it was a sale or an accident or what, but $9 for a gorgeous lipgloss from Sephora is a damn good deal so I got one. Should have gotten two. I got "Hellbent," which is an opaque deep, blood red. I love love love it. It's such a sexy color, and lasts a really long time for a lipgloss. Here it is with just lip liner (NYX Burgundy):
This last image is swatched by itself.

Here I'm wearing it with NYX "Burgundy" lip liner as well as Morgana Cryptoria's lipstick, "Very Cherry."
I think the photos speak for themselves. It's gorgeous. It's not really sticky either, which I like. I like my "classic red" lip to be on the darker red side, but if you like the bright bright red, I recommend "Underage Red."
I have to say, though, I'm not really a fan of Kat Von D as a person. She's kind of...well, skanky. I love the makeup line though, I use the "Tattoo Liner" pen almost everyday and I do have to admit she does amazing tattoo work. I think I've just heard her say one too many stupid things on LA Ink haha

"Dude, it's not rocket surgery."
