Fall FOTD

This is actually from yesterday, but I was really wanting to wear Aromaleigh's "Bacio." I'm not usually a big fan of browns but Bacio is really lovely.

I really like "Just Bitten" and "Bacio" together. When I ordered Just Bitten I was expecting it to be more red than it is, it's actually more of a maroon-ish burgundy with gold sparkles. It's a perfect fall color.

Gothic Blue Fairy Halloween Look

So, check out my awesome last minute costume! Five dollar wings and...well, a bunch of stuff I already had! Woo! I think it turned out pretty cute though, I love having the excuse to do this type of makeup.

Bluuuuuue amirite? I thought it looked pretty awesome for how last minute it was. It was actually supposed to be purple, but Walmart didn't have any purple wings sooo blue! I was supposed to be a dark fairy but I kinda ended up looking like a dominatrix fairy.. haha Here are a few amusing pictures from the evening. The lovely lady in red is my best friend Amanda :)

So I FINALLY got my hair done..I don't know how apparent it was in the pictures I posted here but it needed it..bad. It looks much better now, I think. Anyway, here's my look for today. It's very...blue.

I also painted my nails today. I had to have this Sally Hansen color, it's called "Bubblegum Pink." Here's what it looks like.

I think this color would look great if you used it in a cool design, but to me it looks a little like Peptobismol on it's own. It's definitely somewhere between that, and Barbie. Not really my thing so I took it off. It's a cute color though, and I'll probably use it for multi-colored designs, which I do pretty often.

I'm going to be going to DC Saturday-Tuesday(to see Gorillaz, yay! ^-^) so I probably won't have time to post anything until after then. Soft Blues and Info About My Giveaway!

Giveaway stuff first! So, I promised you all I would do a Sugarpill sample giveaway as soon as I reached 50 followers and damn it I meant it. Well, I logged in today and I have exactly 50! I will make the giveaway post either tonight or tomorrow, depending on how much time I have. The Sugarpill colors I have to offer are Goldilux, Darling, Paperdoll, and Stella. Three of the four are from the new colors so this is a great chance for you to try them! I'm going to put around 1/4 tsp of product, give or take, into baggies and I'll probably have 2 sets.

This was done before school, so it's not the neatest but I liked the colors. Anemone is so pretty, I'm in love with it. Probably one of my new favorites.

Oh. And here are the cupcakes I made for Caleb for his birthday. They were chocolate chip with an egg-less cookie dough filling...yes...they were incredible. Though, I won't say how much butter I used in them.. O.O

Everyday School Safe Look Using Sugarpill

I usually only post ridiculous looks so here's a normal one. Using..Sugarpill? Whut? Yeah, the new colors are actually pretty safe for day time! I wore this to school.

that's it! Not much at all. This is the kind of thing I wear to school, if I'm wearing makeup at all. Normally I can't be bothered to even wear makeup to school but if I have some extra time this is the type of thing I usually do. To me, Paperdoll isn't like other Sugarpill colors. I like it, but it's a pretty light, simple color. It does have some glitter but not a crazy amount. If you're interested in Sugarpill but are put off by the bright colors, I would definitely recommend Paperdoll. :)

Warm Fall Colors FOTD

I love fall, don't you? It's probably my favorite season, but mostly just because it means it's time for Halloween :D It's not really getting cool here yet, but I can feel the season transitioning. You know how I can tell? My skin is breaking out. That could be from the weather, the stress of school, or both I don't really know. In any case, I did a lovely warm fall-ish look for you today. Warm, not neutral though. :)

FOTD Using New Sugarpill

So I actually did this look yesterday, but didn't want to overload you with posts. Before I put up the pictures I wanted to mention that I'm thinking about doing a small giveaway in the near future. I figured since the Sugarpill jars are HUGE and there's no way I could ever use them up I could sample them and give them away. Obviously I want to get more readers before I do this, but what do you guys think? Should I? I'm happy to share, and I'd never send you something I didn't love myself! Let me know. :)

Turquoise and purple are my favorite colors to put together! I'd paint my room those colors if I could. I know the "wings" are a little funky on this look but don't worry..I didn't go out in public haha :)

Bluuuueness LOTD (video)

So, today I did something a little different, maybe a little crazy depending on your taste. I wanted to wear my Morgana Minerals lipstick "Serenity" (blue) so I did. Since it's such a noticeable color I didn't want to get too crazy on the eyes so I kept that pretty simple. I used "Family Secret" by GDE all over the lid and brow bone and "Curiouser and Curiouser" by Fyrinnae on the upper lashline. I applied this wet and then went over it again with some dry so the sparkles would show up more.


Clearly I was having trouble photographing this correctly, so I made a video! Wow! Unfortunately I can't freaking upload it. SO. I turned to youtube. I don't like posting videos of myself on youtube usually because people are so darn mean, but eh. Oh well.



Obviously I'm not used to making videos, so I was pretty much just playing around with it. I may or may not continue to do them. I clearly don't have a video tutorial VOICE haha I know, my accent is awesome. I may do them just for fun anyway, though. We shall see.

Jasmine's "Pink Ice" LOTD

Yesterday my boyfriend and I made plans to take pictures since I got a new camera for my birthday. I figured I'd do something special for pictures. Well, since we made those plans it, of course, rained the whole day. I got some pictures anyway, though.

This is not something I came up with on my own, it's from jazziebabycakes' youtube tutorial titled "Pink Ice." You can watch the tutorial here.







Obviously I didn't go AS dramatic as she did, but that's mainly because I'm terrible with liquid eyeliner. Anyway, this is what I used:

I was proud of this look! Two of my favorite colors to use together. Funny story, I have two different pairs of shoes that are really similar except one is pink and the other is turquoise. Obviously they both matched and I couldn't decide which pair to wear so I wore both. I definitely got some looks haha

Purple, Pink, and a Blueberry Cupcake

Today (well, actually a couple of days ago) I wanted something that would match my pink and purple checkered dress, and I hadn't worn GDE's "Unicorn" in a while so here's what I came up with.

Later that day my mom and I got some delicious cupcakes from "Sugah Cakes." Oh my God. These things are so good they practically melt in your mouth. Seriously, if you're ever in upstate SC (though, why would you be?) you should stop by the White Rabbit and get you some Sugah Cakes cupcakes..it will complete your life. My mom got lemon and I got blueberry, though strawberry is my favorite. Yum!


I devoured it. It was delicious. :) Check out the super flattering lighting in that last picture, mmm cute. hahaha

Black Lipstick = Evil. (Sarcasm)

Why is it that so many people have such a problem with black lipstick? Sure it's not natural looking but neither is red lipstick, or purple eyeshadow. Black looks good on everyone and the same goes for make up, INCLUDING lipstick. I love it. I think it looks elegant.
